Day Two in LA I spent by going down to Venice and Santa Monica Beaches - I went with two other travellers a British lawyer and a Salt Lake City car salesman . (I am sure there could be a joke there.) Experienced one of my longest ever cab rides to get there - The weather was ordinary - but warmed up as the haze cleared.

Unfortunately not a soul was working out at muscle beach - so no beautiful people shots.

Had lunch a fab little bar just under the Santa Monica Pier - called the "Muscle Inn" - think a gidget surfing movie meets sports bar (im sure its been there since the late 50's early 60's).

And the cab ride back was just as long ... roads and traffic in LA get no better with time !!!
