I got moving early and after the bad experience with cabs yesterday - I decided to use the relatively new public transport system. And so the trip on express bus, the red and blue line metro's passed with flying colours :-)
I then arrived in Long Beach which has fantastic connecting loop bus services which took me straight to the Queen Mary Hotel. A most charming old boat located just next to the major passenger ship terminal. (I think the successor to the love boat was moored here when I arrived but i was not quick enough to get a snap before it left this arvo.)
I went exploring this afternoon - did some shopping, coffee and wandering - I really like this place.
